Okay, okay, I know that I have been horrible... I haven't updated in FOREVER...

Heres a brief synapses of what is going on in the Life of Micah Rae

so... where to start..

I rode Lotoja as a relay, I was mad I didn't do the whole thing- next year!

Haloween was a blast!
We got some more cabin time with our friends... We always love that... One day we will own one!

Moab Bike Trip....
Lyle and I ran a 10k in Moab... VERY COLD... Lots of fun!!! Race 14.

Lyle and I just got done running Ragnar Arizona- It was way way Fun. A 24 hour race, 204 miles, AMAZING... Run. Eat. Sleep? If you have never ran a Ragnar before do it. And Arizona was beautiful. Our Team was named "OLD SCHOOL" and if you have seen the movie, that's about all you need to picture. We had Frank the tank, neon tights, headband and of course guys in short shorts... We were a hit, people would knock on our van to get pictures.. We did really well, and finished, which was our goal. I will post more on that later!

I am just taking Physiology right now. It is very interesting, love my class, like my teacher... A lot of studying- but really interesting good stuff.

Doin lots of crossfit.... Now if you want a serious butt kickin, check it out...www.crossfit.com Love it... It is the most brutal work out I have ever done... Alls you can do at the end is drop to your knees, in hopes that you dont' vomit.... Haha- that makes it sound horrible- but it is GREAT, and makes you fit fast..

Yoga is still going.. My studio space is doing well...small, intimate and just how I like it..

Bosko is fat....

Lyle got a new job position with the state... Still fighting fire, hmph, but he is The Crew Boss of an internship crew... Running the show.. he is excited because he will be training a lot of the students from UVU and he is good at that... He is a good man and I am really proud of him.

Mustache Bash!

RISK

The greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.

To laugh is to risk appearing to be a fool. To weep is to risk appearing sentimental. To reach out for another is to risk involvement. To expose feelings is to risk exposing your true self. To place your ideas, your dreams, before a crowd is to risk their loss. To love is to risk not being loved in return.

To live is to risk dying. To hope is to risk disappointment. To try is the risk failure.

But risks must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.

The person who risks nothing has nothing ... and knows nothing... and is nothing.

They may avoid suffering and sorrow but they cannot lean to feel, change, grow, love, or live.

Chained by their certitudes, they are slaves; they have forfeited their freedom.

Only a person who risks is Free.
